KOREAN BEAUTY AND SKIN CARE HAUL 2016

Before I went to Korea, I did a lot of research for Korean Beauty and Skin care products. That was the start of my addiction to YouTube and other K-beauty websites. I've been so addicted that I allocated 40% of my shopping money for it (It used to be 100% Clothing and Fashion Budget).. I'm not even vain and I didn't have any skincare products until I went to Seoul last September.  We stayed in Myeongdong and we were surrounded by k-beauty stores. Imagine, in front of our hotel is Etude house, beside us is the biggest Nature Republic and Club Clio.like OMG!!!! I am writing this blog by brand instead of by category.  First, let me start with NATURE REPUBLIC. People have been raving about this Aloe vera soothing gel but unfortunately, my skin did react while using this product so I just gave it to my brother. The Soothing Mist on the other hand works well but I just put it on my hair instead on my face.  The ARGAN line is a must have. Until now, I stil...

KOREA FOOD HAUL 2016

Based on most blogs that I've read, Korean groceries are filled with yummy goodies and are way cheaper as compared to Korean stores in Manila. This is why I went on a grocery shopping at a nearby grocery in Myeongdong and Lotte World . Food Haul Let me start with the choco-mallows. To be honest, Rebisco's choco mallows still tastes way better than this. I find it a little "matabang" for my taste since I have a sweet tooth. If you like sweets but not too sweet, you might want to try this. Rate: 2/5 STARS Next is this cheese sticks. It's just average, nothing over the top. I thought there'll be a crunchy flavor but I was wrong. Again, the chocolate flavor isn't as sweet as what I was expecting. I think this is best paired with ice cream. hahaha RATE: 3/5 STARS This was really good because it's hazelnut flavor. I love everything that is hazelnut (ahem ahem Nutella baby here).. RATE: 4/5 STARS For this waffle biscuit, I gave some...

SEOUL BLOG 2016 DAY 5: Lotte World

It was our last day in Seoul so we tried to really make the most out of it. We booked our Lotte World ticket online which I think is the best strategy that we did. If you book it online, you pay it at a discounted price and existing exchange rate whilst if you pay it over-the-counter, you pay at the exact selling price plus you also pay for the exchange rate difference should it be paid on cash (The accountant in me came to life once again.. nah! nah!) Lotte World Lotte World was very big and there are lots of entrance and exit gates. We took a cab from Myeongdong and since there were six of us, we had to split in 2 groups. We almost lost each other since we arrived at different gates. Thanks to Portable WIFI Rental , we stayed connected. Disclaimer: I am NOT getting paid to make this blog. SEOUL BLOG 2016 DAY 4: Seoul City Tour and Shopping in Hongdae, Ehwa University and Gangnam Underground Center

Our fourth day is meant for shopping which I really like. It was supposed to be DMZ tour but it was not available on that date so we just dedicated the day for Seoul City Tour. Our first stop is the Gyeongbokgung Palace. I had a little research before going there so I became some sort of Tourist guide of my family. We also sneaked out of the group guided tours who are speaking in English at no extra charge. ha! ha! ha! Seoul Palace Guided Tour Happy Family Next, we went to  Bukchon Hanok Village . It was too sunny that day and the place is uphill so only some of my family members went up and just had a short photo sessions. Disclaimer: I am NOT getting paid to make this blog.
