Basically, we reserved Day 3 for
shopping which we have been doing since Day 1 because, why not?! Haha.. As much
as we want to visit Mt. Fuji, we need to spend a day for that and so we decided
to spend our last day in Shibuya and do one thing my mom and I really love..
SHOPPING!!!
But first, let’s take a selfie.. with who else? The famous Hachiko! Thank you so much to our photo bomber.. You really made this worth kawaii! Lol..
Ofcourse, not to forget the
famous Shibuya crossing! Yay!
We arrived early in Shibuya,
around 9 or 10AM and all the malls and establishments are still closed so we
decided to roam around the area.
I almost got wild when I saw this
Music Shop. It’s a 7-storey building selling musical instruments. Waaaaah!!! I
just died. When I saw the prices, I bought 4 Guitar picks instead. Hahaha..
We went to Shibuya 109 for Men
and Women but the price are too expensive and the sizes are too small for us. I
think we shopped a lot at H&M, Uniqlo, and F21.
I will never forget this spot in
H&M where I was fitting a pair of sneakers when I suddenly realized that my Iphone5 was missing. I used it as my calculator since I have my other phone with me
and its much smaller. I tried looking inside my bag but its nowhere to be
found. After almost half an hour of searching, I was sweating and went upstairs
to look for my mom and tell what happened. My gosh! That was my phone for 2
years with lots of photos from our trip then suddenly, it’s gone. My mom
immediately asked for assistance from H&M’s staff, after almost 10 minutes,
they found it! OMG! That was the longest 30 minutes of my life. It just proves
how safe Japan is! Thank you so much to whoever found it in the dressing room.
Hahaha.. J
For lunch, we looked for Genki
Sushi which is a rotating sushi bar. It’s super cool how this works because
each customer has their own tablets and they can order directly through this.
The food will arrive automatically after a few minutes. (Recently, they opened
a branch in BGC at Bonifacio Stop Over). The prices are just right. With a few
bucks, you already have a single served sushi/maki.
After
a day of shopping, we also availed of the baggage lockers for 200 yen for 4
hours. It’s so convenient I wish we have that here in Manila. (I think I saw
one in Glorietta though).
We also tried different drinks from the vendo machine for
us to drink. Luckily, the ones we tried tastes good. Haha..
We have been eating Japanese food
for 2 straight days and so for our last night, we tried pasta and pizza for a
change.
Before heading back of home, we
also tried buying delicacies as pasalubong to our loved ones and for us to eat
back in the hotel room. Japanese people really know how to cook/bake
tastefully.
For our last day, here’s my mom
and I’s loot for the day! Yes, real shopaholics do exist..
Hope you enjoyed this post as
much as we did.
Xoxo,
Krish
