Krish’s Bangkok Haul 2013

As promised from my previous Blog, here are some of the items that I bought in my second Bangkok experience. The first collage are the dresses I bought which cost me 200-300 Baht each. For the shorts I think it’s around 100 to 150 Baht each. Currently, I am so fond of printed dresses and I think my personal favorite in this set are the first 2 items at the top. Next are the tops I bought. You may notice that I mostly got items in white and pastel colors. That’s a big change for me as I really like neon and striking colors. I guess I’m on my way to fashion Maturity.. hahaha.. Soon I’ll be reaching my silver year of existence(im turning 25 this December..oh no!!! L ) and I want to change my wardrobe from girly to classy. Well I tried but my style is really girly so right now, it’s a mix depending on my mood. J For the 3 rd set, these are the more colorful tops. The butterfly blue blazer is also my favorite. I have that in orange too which my mom liked so I gave it to...

My Bangkok Trip 2013

Our flight to Bangkok was on October 6 to 10, 2013. Kath and I were on the same flight while Khiks got there one day earlier. We landed at around 2 AM and so we decided to have some coffee at Coffee World where we availed their free WIFI and stayed there until 7 AM because that time was the first trip of the train. We were so sleepy and hungry so we ate first our breakfast at The Period, near Khiks’ first hotel ,Boxpackers then waited until 11 AM for our check in. We stayed at Baiyoke Sky Hotel. Since Kat was so sleepy, she chose to just rest in the hotel while Khiks and I decided to take a walk and explore Bangkok. It was around 4 PM and so our first stop is the Siam Paragon. I’m not really a fan of high end items but I think Khiks do. When we arrived, the first shop I saw inside is H&M which is an internationally known brand which does not have a branch yet in the Philippines. I only bought a jacket that’s on sale. Original price is 899 Baht but I only got it for 499 Baht! w...

Outfit of the Week: 10.14.13 to 10.18.13

Blogging for me can be fun but needs quite some time and good internet connection for maintenance. In my case, my postpaid internet connection in my condo is such a loser so I need to go elsewhere just to post events or just OOTDs. But Im always online through facebook, twitter and instagram so if you want, you can follow me using the links I have in my blogsite. J I haven’t blogged since ages, if I do, it’s nearly a century before I can post them. But when I was researching for our trip in Bangkok, I saw this video blog by Cherrie Zeng in You tube and tried to access her blogsite. That inspired me to make my OOTD again! By the way, since I am so busy right now, I’ll only be posting 3 OOTDs for the week.I forgot to take pix for the remaining days. Sorry! J Sunday I _ You Shirt – Maldita Checked Black and White Shorts – Platinum Mall (BKK) Sneakers – Bossini Eyeglasses – Rayban Thursday Animo Shirt – De La Salle University Jeans –Reborn Shoes (not shown in th...

BUS560M WEEK 1: FIRST DAY HIGH

It was our first day of classes and I'm so excited to meet new friends and of course to learn from our lessons. My 6:00 PM class is a bit of a hassle as it is a rush hour and so on my first day, I was not spared from the traffic and the bulk of people inside the LRT. I stay at UN Manila, and though it's just 3 stations away from Vito Cruz, it took me almost an hour to ride the train. Thank God I was inside the classroom at exactly 5:59 PM. Beat that! :) Just like the usual class, it is always a must during first day of classes to introduce ourselves one by one. And for the first time, I felt the pressure knowing my classmates are all professionals and have longer experiences than I have. But looking at it at a brighter perspective, I'm here to learn and to know what they can share to me that I can apply once I become a   manager.. That is my main goal for now. To lead people. My professor for this class is Professor Pia Manalastas who happened to be our   Program c...

Hello Barnie :)

I should have posted this a week ago but due to my busy sched, I really can't find time to blog and make outfit posts. It's hard to joggle work and school at the same time. Last week, we were given a homework to sketch almost 30 kinds of skirts. That's quite a lot, right? But it was a good start to just practice on drawing and designing basic stuffs especially when you're taking fashion design. I don't have inborn artistic skills but I always believed that everything can be learned. You just have to focus and persevere on such. Anyway, here's what I wore a few friday's ago.I couldn't decide on what to wear that day and I opted to wear this "Barnie" like plain top I bought from Rico Salandanan and paired it with my favorite accessories I got from 168 Mall(The best place on earth!!!) What I love with this RTW designer is that his design aesthetics are so wearable especially for working women. So if you're about to graduate or you're loo...

Love Somebody

"I don't know where to start, I'm just a little lost, I wanna feel like we never gonna ever stop".. lalala.. I've been really really hooked with this song by maroon 5 called "Love Somebody".  But unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch their recent concert in Manila because of sold out tickets.. spell NGA-NGA! ..hahaha Anyhow, here's what I wore to Roi and Amira's wedding held last sunday at Microtel Hotel, Mall of Asia..  Dress: Superb Bazaar; Ring: Genevieve Gozum; Shoes: Bazaar I just realized that time has been running so fast. Before, I used to attend children's parties.. then came debut parties.. And now WEDDINGS! Oh my gosh! It feels like I'll have to wait for all my friends to get married before I do.. hahaha.. Well, that's life.. No pressure.. No rush.. One day I'll find mine in the right place and in God's perfect time.. :) x.o.x.o Krish :)

Happy Ever After

Every girl wants to have that  fairy tale kind of love story when a man comes into their lives that will make them feel like they are the most beautiful girl the world. Someone who will accept you for who you are regardless of your imperfections.. Someone who will always be there whenever you need him.. Someone who understands and makes you feel LOVED. :) Last August 21, my bestfriend from high school, Lyza has finally tied the knots with her long time lovie Melvin held at Tagaytay Highlands. I am just so proud to have been part of their journey through the years. It was a grecian-inspired wedding which is superb from every detail. Now, let's talk about the outfit I had that day. To be honest, it was a last minute shopping online and I had to go through a lot of hassle just to get something to wear  and I ended up purchasing this Grecian-inspired dress from Isabelli na Kayo . They have lots of pretty dresses at very affordable prices. Amazing!!! Dress: Isabelli na Kayo ...
