SEOUL BLOG 2016 DAY 2: Insadong and Everland

For our first day, we went to Insadong to visit the Nakwon Music Mall. Musicians kc kame in the family so we always make it a point to go to a music store every time we go out of the country. Unfortunately, epic fail ang day namin dahil korean holiday nun at closed most of the establishments inside the Nakwon Music Mall. So we decided to go straight to Ssamziegil Mall.
On our way to Insadong

From Nakwon Mall, you just have to cross the street and walk ng very very light to reach Insadong. This place is where you can buy native korean products and pasalubong at a cheaper price. My sister-in-law planned on buying a traditional korean dress for my pamangkins but since this was our first stop, hindi nya binili. She never found again another store who sells those at a cheaper price. Sayang!

Ssamziegil Mall
Ssamziegil Mall opens at 10:30am and since mejo maaga pa kame, we shopped at nearby stores in the area. Somehow, mejo mura na xa. For T-shirts with "I Love Korea" print, it cost aorund Php 150-250 lang. Mejo mura na din compared sa Japan.

Ofcourse, kyeme lang saken mga traditional eklavu. Im so over with keychain kind of pasalubongs kc kalat lang sa house so I decided na food na lang ang pasalubong for my officemates and friends. But ofcourse, I will never miss shopping for clothes and so I took videos and photos of fashion stores in all of Seoul. By the way, the current rate during that time is 1000 korean won = Php 42.22.

At 10:30 am we decided to go inside Ssamziegil Mall and do a little stroll. For those of you who are havin' a hard time walking through stairs just like my mom and eldest bro, no need to worry. The building was built going up. You just need to walk and you'll feel na pataas na yung daan biglang 4th floor ka na pla. Super cool!!!

So anyway, since mejo hopeless romantic kame dito, we went to the Wall of Love which is located at the roof top of the mall. Dahil mgpapartner sila, mega picture kme dito at dahil solo mode ako, bumili ndn ako ng love tag for 5000 won.

Dun na din kame inabutan ng lunch time so we checked in sa restaurant sa baba ng mall and fortunately, we super love the food. Koreans are super OC sa gamit. Ayaw nila ng makalat, gusto nila lahat maayos. There was one time in this restaurant in Ssamziegil Mall, I left my monopod and bag sa table. the waitress grabbed my bag and put it in a chair. Inayos nya talaga yung table, ayaw nila ng duminador! hahahaha.. So ayun, we ate our lunch na. They never allow sharing of food so kung 6 pax kame, dapat 6 pcs din ang order tapos bawal magbring ng take out food inside the store. All of them!!! So mejo hindi din tipid pero keri! Masarap naman yung food and mas mura than our meal in Myeongdong from Day 1. Roughly mga P350-500 per meal kame for this trip. Not bad kc sobrang sarap naman! Sulit!

This is like caldereta but its not! My fav from this restaurant
After Insadong, we went back to Myeongdong via taxi coz we have to meet our driver who will bring us to Everland. We availed of the Everland Night package kasi which includes round trip bus fare na for P2261.79 each. You can also avail a package at the Trazy.com wesite. They have one of the best deals for korean tours like the Everland Discount Ticket & Shuttle Bus Package . This is way chaeper than purchasing tickets sa mismong entrance ng Theme Park. Almost 1 hour din ung byahe kaya mejo naka-rest and sleep kame konti. Pero wrong timing din talaga ung booking namen kc Chuseok Holiday sa korea (Thanksgiving) so sobrang dameng tao and haba ng pila sa rides. Anyway, enjoy pa din naman kc sobrang ganda talaga though incomparable pdn with disneyland. To me, mas bet q to kc mas pang-adult ang rides nila as compared to disneysea or disneyland.

Inside our bus going to Everland

Our group : KstoryAdventures EVERLAND
EVERLAND

We still enjoyed the view, the init and the long line kahit after lunch na kame dumating. Sakto lang yun kc mas mahal ang food inside the theme park compared sa Insadong plus pwede din magbaon ng food so tipid goals talaga! dito namin kinain ung sangkatutak na fried dumplings na binili namin sa Insadong. Meron din Etude house, Olive Young, and other make up and fashion stores inside the theme park. Sobrang entertaining!!! Favorite ko na talaga South Korea!haha..

Family Picture
What we enjoyed the most as a group is yung Safari Adventure. I've never been to Subic Safari kaya sobrang amazed ako dito.. haha.. Pumila kame ng mga 2 hours para dito parang walang katapusan yung pila as in pero super sulit! Andame ko ndn nakain habang nsa pila kaya d ako nagugutom! haha..

Polar bear by the bus window

Literal: WILD Animals! haha

White tiger

Never miss this ride in Everland guys!!!

Takot na takot na ko neto! Ako lang yata sasakay ng mag-isa sa ride na to!haha

My pretty seat mate. Heart heart!
After that ride, hindi q na nakuha kumain kc akala ko isusuka ko kinain ko buti hindi naman! haha.. AT night, there's a romantic spot in the area na okay for picture taking lalo na for couples. Ang galing ko maging photographer guys promise! hahaha.. Pero dhil wala ako sa picture, Im not posting the picture here. hehe..

After that, meron din silang Everland parade. Not as cute and fancy as Disneyland pero maganda din naman!

At around 10:20 we went back to Myeongdong na and took a cab going to Dongdaemon! Yup, day 1 is not yet over dahil kailangan nmn mapuntahan lahat ng nsa itinerary and that means, our first OFFICIAL SHOPPING DESTINATION (For me lang kc wala ako binili sa Insadong)....

The best Dak Galbi in the world!!!!!

Day 2 dinner with fambam at Yoogane Dak Galbi

Mejo late na so we stopped at Hello OPM na lang and shopped for clothes. The boys stayed lang outside the mall and gave us more than an hour to shop. Ofcourse nagpapanic ako ksi hindi enough ang 1 hour saken kaya naman over time ako.. hihi.. At dahil ngvvlog ako using my action cam, wala ko picture inside the mall. Sorry guys! Feeling ko kc gusto q na mgshift sa vlogging pero nakakatamad din pala mag-edit ng videos so back to not-so-regular blogging akey! But just to give you some tips, out of all the shopping destinations na pinuntahan namen, Hello OPM Mall houses a lot of clothes for the working people. Hongdae, Gangnam and Ewha dont have lots of variety unliek dito when it comes to office clothes and I can really say na sobrang mura dito compared sa Gangnam. I bough a top for 25,000 won in Hello OPM but in Ewha, I found a similar top for 45,000 won. Sobrang mahal! buti na lang nabili q xa dito.. Again guys, mas mura dito if office clothes lang ha? Most of the casual clothes, mas mura sa ibang shopping destinations. Also, the mall is open from 10PM to 5am kaya sa mga night shifters, feeling q this is the place to be! Pero dahil super late na at mahaba pa ulet ang araw namen, we headed back to our hotel in Myeongdong to rest and sleep.

Super fun shopping day for me.

xoxo,
Krish

KOREAN BEAUTY AND SKIN CARE HAUL 2016

Before I went to Korea, I did a lot of research for Korean Beauty and Skin care products. That was the start of my addiction to YouTube and other K-beauty websites. I've been so addicted that I allocated 40% of my shopping money for it (It used to be 100% Clothing and Fashion Budget).. I'm not even vain and I didn't have any skincare products until I went to Seoul last September.  We stayed in Myeongdong and we were surrounded by k-beauty stores. Imagine, in front of our hotel is Etude house, beside us is the biggest Nature Republic and Club Clio.like OMG!!!! I am writing this blog by brand instead of by category.  First, let me start with NATURE REPUBLIC. People have been raving about this Aloe vera soothing gel but unfortunately, my skin did react while using this product so I just gave it to my brother. The Soothing Mist on the other hand works well but I just put it on my hair instead on my face.  The ARGAN line is a must have. Until now, I stil...

Bloggers United 3

It was my first time to attend the Bloggers United Event. For quite some time, I am getting so addicted with blogging. At first I was just a fan who follow other people's blogs but eventually, I decided to make my own write ups.The first people that I followed were Camille Co, Kryz Uy and Laureen Uy. Then, after some time, I have known some more fashion bloggers who are real fashionistas in their own right. Actually, we all are! It's just how you carry yourself even if you go "Ga-ga" sometimes.  I was so happy with the event yesterday at Grand View Events Place. There were a number of sponsors and all my favorite bloggers were there. I am so excited to show you guys my photos with them. I wish I could be like them in the future(ehem!)I'm so sorry for the arrangement of the pictures. I'm having a hard time getting the pictures move into it's right places... ugh!  with Liz Lanuzo with Gela Bestie   with David Guison with Bjorn...

How I Did my Dream Euro Trip for less than P200,000 (All-in)

How I Did my Dream Euro Trip for less than P200,000 (All-in) Planning your first Europe trip needs a lot of work. Mine, I planned for a year before finally fulfilling it.  First, you have to know what kind of traveler you are and which places do you prefer going to. Do you enjoy going to museums? Do you like drinking and partying? Do you prefer walking or riding different public transportations? You might think, do I really need to think about these things? For me, ABSOLUTELY YES!!! The reason is that Europe is expensive (if you compare their currency with Philippine Peso) and if you are on a tight budget like me, you have to make sure that you will get your money’s worth. Of course, it’s also another set of adventure if you don’t want to plan too much and just go wherever your feet takes you. But for me that’s not really an option. I only had 2 weeks to travel and as a female solo traveler, I had to make sure that my safety is my utmost priority. Also, since I ha...
