SEOUL BLOG 2016 DAY 1: Arrival at Incheon and Myeongdong

I usually book our flights every December 31st of the year as this is usually the period when Cebu Pacific offers their Piso Fare deal. I booked a flight to Seoul, Korea and our roundtrip airfare costs only around P5,000 each. That's a pretty good steal considering the 4-5 hours travel time. Anyway for this trip, I traveled with my family (that means me, my mom, my brothers and their wives).

Arrival at the Incheon Airport

Anyway, our flight is at 3:00 pm on September 15, 2016 and we arrived at the Incheon International Airport at around 8 PM. After passing the immigration, we looked for a convenience store where we bought our T Cards which we used as payment for public transports around Seoul. Before our trip, my sisters-in-law and I made our advanced booking and itinerary to make our trip more convenient. Each of us loaded Php 1500.00 worth of load in our T Card. After that, we decided to get the WIFI egg for roughly around Php 1500 per unit which can accommodate up to 3 mobiles. Since we are travelling for a group of 6, we decided to get 2 units so it will be easier for us to communicate in case someone gets lost.

My cute T-Card

During our trip, we only made 3 advance online bookings; our roundtrip airport transfers via limousine (Good for 7 pax, around Php1,298.99 each), our Everland package with bus to and from Myeongdong (Php2,261.79) and the Lotte World Adventure (Php 1,522.36 each).

Groupie with fam before leaving the airport going to Myeongdong

As you can see, the limousine van is very spacious, comfortable and most of all, it has a free and super fast wifi. If you want to travel light, you can opt to avail the Luggage Delivery service from airport to hotel for a very affordable price.

We stayed at K Guesthouse Premium Myeondong 4 which is located at the center of the make-up capital of Seoul. The location is perfect for travelers who love to stroll around Myeongdong. Unfortunately for us, we only have 4 days to squeeze all the locations included in our itinerary so we hardly stayed around Myeongdong for some shopping.

Anyway, here's how our hotel looked like.

The room is kind of small just like the rooms in Tokyo but the skin and hair care items are superb! We never used our own toiletries because the hotel's freebies are very nice.

After resting and putting our luggages inside our rooms, we finally went out to eat dinner. Since we arrived around midnight at Myeongdong, there were only a few establishments open during that time so we ate at a fastfood near our hotel called Baekje Samgyetang. Here are some of our pics during our first dinner in Seoul.

We strolled around the area and tried to eat streetfood as well but since it was late already, we only tried a few.

Deep-Fried Shrimp

Of course, my day will never be complete without some sweets so I tried this super dainty strawberry yogurt ice cream from a store called The Milky Bee. I swear, this is super yummy and the strawberry and yogurt is LEGIT satisfying!!!! It really is a MUST-TRY!!! :)

Day 1 was pretty tiring but Day 2 is so much better!

KOREAN BEAUTY AND SKIN CARE HAUL 2016

Before I went to Korea, I did a lot of research for Korean Beauty and Skin care products. That was the start of my addiction to YouTube and other K-beauty websites. I've been so addicted that I allocated 40% of my shopping money for it (It used to be 100% Clothing and Fashion Budget).. I'm not even vain and I didn't have any skincare products until I went to Seoul last September.  We stayed in Myeongdong and we were surrounded by k-beauty stores. Imagine, in front of our hotel is Etude house, beside us is the biggest Nature Republic and Club Clio.like OMG!!!! I am writing this blog by brand instead of by category.  First, let me start with NATURE REPUBLIC. People have been raving about this Aloe vera soothing gel but unfortunately, my skin did react while using this product so I just gave it to my brother. The Soothing Mist on the other hand works well but I just put it on my hair instead on my face.  The ARGAN line is a must have. Until now, I stil...

Bloggers United 3

It was my first time to attend the Bloggers United Event. For quite some time, I am getting so addicted with blogging. At first I was just a fan who follow other people's blogs but eventually, I decided to make my own write ups.The first people that I followed were Camille Co, Kryz Uy and Laureen Uy. Then, after some time, I have known some more fashion bloggers who are real fashionistas in their own right. Actually, we all are! It's just how you carry yourself even if you go "Ga-ga" sometimes.  I was so happy with the event yesterday at Grand View Events Place. There were a number of sponsors and all my favorite bloggers were there. I am so excited to show you guys my photos with them. I wish I could be like them in the future(ehem!)I'm so sorry for the arrangement of the pictures. I'm having a hard time getting the pictures move into it's right places... ugh!  with Liz Lanuzo with Gela Bestie   with David Guison with Bjorn...

How I Did my Dream Euro Trip for less than P200,000 (All-in)

How I Did my Dream Euro Trip for less than P200,000 (All-in) Planning your first Europe trip needs a lot of work. Mine, I planned for a year before finally fulfilling it.  First, you have to know what kind of traveler you are and which places do you prefer going to. Do you enjoy going to museums? Do you like drinking and partying? Do you prefer walking or riding different public transportations? You might think, do I really need to think about these things? For me, ABSOLUTELY YES!!! The reason is that Europe is expensive (if you compare their currency with Philippine Peso) and if you are on a tight budget like me, you have to make sure that you will get your money’s worth. Of course, it’s also another set of adventure if you don’t want to plan too much and just go wherever your feet takes you. But for me that’s not really an option. I only had 2 weeks to travel and as a female solo traveler, I had to make sure that my safety is my utmost priority. Also, since I ha...
