Tokyo Shopping Haul 2015

I’m a fan of reading blogs and watching vlogs in youtube especially shopping hauls. For every international trip, I always make sure to make one as a helping tool for future travellers. Since it has been a year since our last trip, I can barely remember the exact prices of these items but I can share with you my rough estimate of how much these items were and where I bought them. I bought a few pieces of clothes as local japan brands are quite expensive and doesn’t fit my body frame. For one, this Navy School girl Dress I got from a local shop in Takeshita Street costs around P1,200-1,300 pesos. I don’t usually buy casual dresses with this amount but I just found it very unique and so kawaii that’s why I purchased it. Plus, it fits me so that’s a bonus. Haha!   Some other items I got from Takeshita Street are these socks I bought for 3 for Y1,000 Yen(P370.00) Next, are the items I got from Don Quixote Shop. I got this jacket for roughly P1,500 pesos. I was ac...

Day 4: Tokyo Trip 2015 (Shinjuku, Narita Airport to Manila)

For our last day, we barely have some sleep because our flight is early in the morning and we slept late packing our stuff inside our luggage. We had breakfast in the hotel and asked the staff to get us a taxi to Shinjuku. Although taking the train is a lot cheaper, it would be really hard for us to carry our bags using the stairs and finding the right exits.    The taxi driver speaks English fluently but he charges badly! Haha.. Imagine, we paid 1500 yen for a taxi ride going to Shinjuku station. The distance is like you drove from RCBC Plaza Makati to Glorietta. If you convert that in peso, that’s around P555.00. Gosh! From Shinjuku station, we decided to take the Airport Limousine going to Narita. It took us 1 ½ hours travel time and we paid 3500 yen each for this. To me, this is the most convenient way of flying back to the airport if you have luggages.  Upon reaching the airport, I got crazy looking at the Pokemon store which houses a...

Day 3: Tokyo Trip 2015 (Shopping in Shibuya)

Basically, we reserved Day 3 for shopping which we have been doing since Day 1 because, why not?! Haha.. As much as we want to visit Mt. Fuji, we need to spend a day for that and so we decided to spend our last day in Shibuya and do one thing my mom and I really love.. SHOPPING!!! But first, let’s take a selfie.. with who else? The famous Hachiko! Thank you so much to our photo bomber.. You really made this worth kawaii! Lol..  Ofcourse, not to forget the famous Shibuya crossing! Yay! We arrived early in Shibuya, around 9 or 10AM and all the malls and establishments are still closed so we decided to roam around the area. I almost got wild when I saw this Music Shop. It’s a 7-storey building selling musical instruments. Waaaaah!!! I just died. When I saw the prices, I bought 4 Guitar picks instead. Hahaha.. We went to Shibuya 109 for Men and Women but the price are too expensive and the sizes are too small for us. I think we shopped a lot...

Day 2: Tokyo Trip 2015 (Tokyo DisneySea/Akihabara/Don Quijote Shopping)

For our second day, we went to Tokyo Disney Sea. I was thinking if we will take the bus ride or train going to Disney sea but we didn’t catch the last morning trip so I just gambled in transferring trains. As I said in my earlier post, I really hate their train line because its so confusing. Thank God there are Apple Apps available offline where I can access the easiest train transfers in the fastest and most convenient way. In case you are wondering why we chose Disney Sea over Disney land, we were told that Disney Sea is the only “sea” park that Disney has. We’ve been to HK Disney Land already so I think its better if we try another one. Although if only we have the luxury of time, we would have tried both. Upon arrival in the theme park, as usual, restaurant nanaman ang hanap namen! It’s past 12 nn at di pa kame ngllunch. The food are super expensive huh!price ranges aroung P500-1,000 per meal wala pang drinks ha! I think this is cheese and rice Junior siz...
